Within a year from my first pregnancy, I met a naturopath and started looking at my diet as well. She had me stop eating wheat and dairy and put me on supplements in areas that I was deficient. She also had me stay on Metformin! Within two months of this new eating plan, we were pregnant. I stayed on Metformin until 14 weeks and the whole pregnancy went perfect. I had no complications and it was very healthy. I was induced at 37 weeks because my blood pressure was high and I had dialated to 2 cm, there was also protein in my urine. My daughter was born perfect, at 6 pounds 13 ounces. Metformin was really instrumental in my PCOS, I am so thankful for it! |
Are you IR? I've just found out that I'm not, and honestly, I'm discouraged that now that means the Met won't help me at all (lose weight, get a normal af).
Anyone sucessful on Met who's not IR?
