Also, keep in mind that PCOS is a diagnosis of 'exclusion'. Meaning that doctors should EXCLUDE several other diseases, and if they still can't find out what's causing your symptoms, they call it 'pcos'.

Until there's a conclusive diagnosis on the books, you really don't want a pcos diagnosis on your record - especially if you don't have health insurance.
