I've heard of some drugs actually producing PCOS in some women. One of the drugs is depakote. A lot of neuorlogists try avoid this anti-epileptic drug in young women based on this reason. It causes weight gain (like most anti-epileptic drugs, except Topiramate), increasing male hormone for hirsuitism and acne. Sounds like PCOS and looks like PCOS? You bet ya!
