I lived in London for a year (moved to Toronto last Sept) and found the same thing. UWO was pretty bad for clique behaviour, and I found it to be an unfriendly city, though it is a nice city with all the parks and stuff.
I grew up in a small town a few hours north of London, so when I was diagnosed with PCOS, it was by Dr. Power in London. He seemed nice but his focus is on reproductive endocrinology (if I remember correctly, it was 8 years ago) so I will not go back to see him.
If anyone is going to Western, I can recommend a doctor at the clinic - let me know and I will look up her name. She knew a lot about PCOS and was very open to tests and trying meds (Spiro, Metformin, etc if they were a fit for the PCOS issues).
