 Ache
What do you do when it all goes wrong,
when your plans fall through,
When it happens to you,
and your singing the same sad song
that other women sing?
It can't happen to me
I'm strong, I'm free
I did all I could to provide
there are many who care
many who love
and many to whom I confide.
But it won't stop the ache
the pain or the void
of not holding a child to my heart
This nest must wait
while I ask fate
when my new life can start.
