Though I notice they are on the higher end of normal and that is with 500mg of met daily. The met has stopped my weight gain, but I haven't lost anything. He is going to check my estrogen and cortisol levels to see if that is the problem, but I have to wait another month to go back to him.

Has anyone else had this problem?
i'm not insulin resistant and my doctor didnt bother checking my hormone levels because they change so much throughout your cycle and we have no idea where i am in my cycle. he diagonosed me on symptoms alone. he said there are a lot of women who are non IR but still have PCOS and should be treated as such. he's also testing me for a few other things that have similar symptoms to pcos (such as androgen producing tumors) i havnt got the results yet but hes confident that its PCOS.
