Hi Girls,

I will do personals later. Just wanted to give you a quick update.

My grandma went into the hospital on Friday. She had a big stroke and wasn't great before that. I went home to say my goodbyes on Sunday and visited her everyday. She lost her speech and ability to swallow so she was on a glucose IV. On Tuesday the doc talked to her daughters(1 being my mom) and said that she won't recover this time and she thinks that the IV should be removed, then we should all say our goodbyes and she would need to be put on Morphine in a couple days and she would basically be in a coma. Well they took the IV out and ever since she has been getting better and more alert. So it's been like 6 days with no food or fluid and she keeps getting better. She has regained her swallowing just a little but not enough for food. And she has refused a feeding tube. This was so hard to watch because she is basically starving to death but getting better. My aunts don't want to put her on the IV again because she will have to go through this all again since you can only have it for 3 weeks. It's so hard to see my grandma trying to say something and we can't understand. But talking to her and her smiling and moving around is so hard to watch since I know she will be gone soon. We hoped this would happen overnight. She is having another test today and then we will see if she will go back on the IV. We are really close so this is extremely hard on me. What a horrible roller coaster. This has literary been the worse week of my life. I came back here Sunday and I am really sick now. Bad cold and all. I can't take anything so I am just trying to wait it out. Anyway, that is the story in a nut shell. We will see what tonight's phone call brings. I'm praying that she either goes quickly or they put her back on the IV.

Everything with the pregnancy is going well. I am really trying not to get stressed but it is hard. Baby is moving everyday which always brings a smile to my face. I'm really starting to show now. Enough that people are actually noticing!

Hope everyone is doing well.

~Amber
