Hi everyone! I'm new to this site, but im glad i found people who are taking metformin for infertility. I have been ttc for 3 1/2 years now and am currently taking 1700mg of metformin. I started out taking only 500mg on Jan. 11th and finally worked my way up. I dont think I have pcos. Never been diagnosed. My periods are irregular and I am overweight and my doctor seems to think this will help. Just wondering if anyone has gotten pregnant taking metformin alone. And how long will it take for metformin to work. Im a little confused on how metformin can help me get pregnant, so I could use a little info from others. Thanks! |
