I'm medium brown, but had the darker pigmentation you speak of. Some of that is collagen, and some of it is hair beneath the skin.

Like the PP, I'm also getting Gentle Yag with no problems. I'm also using Tri Luma cream to lighten the hyperpigmentation. most of the spots were gone in less than 2 weeks.

Where in North Carolina are you? I'm currently getting treatment in Raleigh.
