I was on the Nuva Ring for about a year and a half and loved the convenience of it...only having to worry about it every few weeks. However, when I went off of it, I gained weight like crazy (about 35 lbs now). I have still not been diagnosed with PCOS but I am positive that's what I have. I know not being on birth control is not an option for some people, but the hormones it subjects your body to are brutal. BTW...did have to go on antidepressant medication while on it.
