Only 21 years Old
Now got to plan ahead
And changing your lifestyle
Is one thing you dread

Periods that have vanished
Random weight gain
Unwanted hair
The energy drain

Losing hair from your head
Waking at night,
Thinking about infertility,
You got yourself a fight!

That’s not all symptoms!
There’s many more I could stress!
Did you think you knew
All about PCOS?

Friends are supportive
Family feel sad
But Some think they are aware!
That’s what makes me mad!

‘I know PCOS’
‘I’ve had it before’
Then they go on to tell you
‘I know a cure!’

Since there is no cure for PCOS
I feel it’s my duty, I'll try my best
To tell every person
Who doesn’t have a clue!
I could tell you about PCOS
And I actually have it too!!

So do me a favour
Now you know PCOS from my view
Please make others aware
Because it’s been long overdue.

A little something I wrote when I got fed up with a 'friend' who told me that she knew all about PCOS and how it's not a big deal...... grrrr!!
