Smile new job, new insurance, new doctor (advice?)

Hi! So I just got a new job with benefits that I'm SUPER excited about. I was diagnosed with PCOS about three or four years ago, and have been on and off BCPs since then (mostly on). I am insured again and I can go to a doctor now and see about getting some other kind of treatment, I really want to do something about the hair growth and my insulin resistance and all of that.

Should I go to a general practitioner for this or just go straight to a reproductive endocrinologist? If I went straight to the latter first, should I still have a regular doctor? All of my medical issues are PCOS/weight related.

Thanks!
