Default Hypoglycemia and IR

Getting hypoglycemic episodes is just part of the vicious IR cycle...Insulin is high (because cells are resistant to insulin and it takes more to regulate the cells) therefore blood sugar is low...crave carbs, sweets because of low blood sugar...eat sweets...insulin surges again in response to sugar in the foods. Thats how it was explained to me. I was very confused at first too.
Met makes your body more sensitive to insulin, so it doesn’t have to make as much and in turn-lower insulin=normal glucose levels.
Met is not suppose to cause/increase hypoglycemia because it doesn't actually affect insulin secretion-just the way the cells react to insulin.
