What other speakers will be there? I'm so happy (nervous, excited) for you. Maybe this will get some workshops going too!? Sounds like you've been run off your feet. Deb, no wonder you have a headache - 20 something year ones in a pool with one other adult! AAGGGHHHH! That sounds a little scarey to me. Hope you can get that virus out of your household soon. The other day Mackenzie was looking at photos (he is ALWAYS looking at photos/videos) and the photos of him and Jenna playing on that car or something at Carindale when we had a SC lunch came up. Mackenzie said Oh mummy, I really do like that little girl, what was her name, when can we see her again? When I said Jenna, he said, Oh year, I did like that girl, she was lovely and my friend. It was very cute. Jeanette, sounds like you've had a crap time, hope it gets better soon too. Kirsten, I know what you mean with kids clothes. I found that I would go through stuff and think, there is no way that is going to fit DS for ages, and shove it up the back of the drawer, and the next time I see it DS has way grown out of it. When they are that little, things don't fit 'properly' for very long. As for first b'day parties, with Mackenzie (first ds) we went to a park and had some family and friends. I made the big number 1 out of the WW kids birthday cake book and for Campbell (second ds) we had the party at home with family and friends. I made the pirate ship out of the ww book (only I made it a lovely light blue, not black) made heaps of sea creatures and stuck them all over our walls - had lots of green and blue balloons, cups lollies, drinks, cakes....it was a bit cute. Both parties were more for us though, the kids really had no idea. Had a bit of cake and were ready for bed! Nic, YAY for Dylan! What a proud mummy you must be! Glad that virus was only a 24hour thing. It is bad enough as an adult having a headache, but it is so hard for kids. Damn things! And I think it was you asking about our diet? We are doing the celebrity slim diet shake thing. Dh has lost around 14kg, so he his very happy with himself. Jade, you've been a busy girl too. I was wondering when your next transfer was, keeping everything crossed for you.x How has your new business been going? Well, I guess I've been busy, but more than that, I have been angry and disgusted. My sh!thole of a job just gets worse every day I go there. On Wednesday I got there at 9am to start work and three people had been sacked before I even got there! Then another girl the next day. The HR lady was up from Melbourne having half hour meetings with everyone trying to put a positive spin on it and I felt like punching her in the head - stupid mole! When it was my turn for our little chat, I was shaking and all red. (tears were earlier that day with the rest of the staff). I walked in there and said I have nothing to say to you, so just get me to sign what I have to sign so I can leave. She kept trying to butter me up and get me to talk about it and I just kept saying you are so the last person I would talk to about how I feel, so stop asking me please. She said that they need everyones support for all the new 'changes' that are happening so I said, well you don't have mine! While I work here, I'll give nothing but 110%, because that's what I do, but I intend to leave as soon as I can find another job and when I walk out that door I will not look back. I kind of think she got the message by the time I left. I did feel much better though after 'not' talking to her. On a happier note, Rohan and I went up to Brissy last night to the wharf in Hamilton to my cousins 40th birthday. We had the best time. I had lots of champagne and yummy food and got to see some cousins who I never get to see. It was a really nice evening. I'm not going to look at the scales for a couple of days though Ok, time for housework - woo hoo! Going to get as much as I can done and then have a sleep when my boys do....fingers crossed. How about a spit roast today ladies. The weather has turned cool up here too. A spit roast with lots of lovely roast vegies and gravy. Enjoy!
