I could totally empathize with your story about how people think you choose to be bigger and that you can control yourself with diet and exercise....PCOS isn't as simple as that, especially since its root cause is insulin resistance, but people just don't understand, so I've stopped trying to explain it also. It feels so nice to be in this community where people DO understand and know!
