Nurse28- OUr province (alberta) is a little different. We pay for healthcare depending on our income. However, the most we pay monthly for a single person is 44 dollars a month, we do pay for our perscriptions, but there are some added plan you can get like blue cross or manuallife that cover up to 100% of your prescriptions. Everyone, no matter who, can see a doctor, however our wait times to see specialists are long because there are so few doctors, and to see a specialist, such as an RE, you need to be refered by your family doctor at no cost.
