I was on Yasmin for a couple years because of my PCOS. It helped with my excess androgens (ie. unwanted hair and acne) and I cycled regularly - my doctor had me cycle every 3 months. However, I don't believe it helped with weight. I went off last fall because I was sick of taking the pill and just "masking" my PCOS instead of trying to actually treat it (JMO about birth control being prescribed for this). I feel much less bloated and pudgey now, and am doing quite well treating all this in a more natural way.
