I am from the central nl area. I am 35 yrs old, I have a liite boy Christopher who will turn 2 on June 30. I was diagnosed with pcos oin 1996, the Dr, I saw at that time said "you have something called pcos, don't worry it's nothing to worry about" Yeah right!! Anyway, I ended up with really high BP, adn was told by another OB/GyN to adopt because I would never have a child on my own. So I had tried clomid a couple of times but it didn't work. I saw my gp and asked her could I get one more opinion from a OB/GYn, so i went to see another one, who put me on metformin in Sept 2005, I was pregnant in Oct 2005, and had a healthy pregnancy and a beautiful baby boy, who I am so thankful for. So we tried for #2 and I got pregnant in July 07, but lost it in August, I then got pregnant again in OCt 07, I thought I was doin really well, because i was so sick every morning, I was supposedly 11 weeks, but I was only 6.5 weeks, so I ended up having a D&C, 2 weeks before christmas. Anyway, this last mc really brought me down. My Dr has prescribed Progesterone supp. for me for the next time , he says I had one healthy pregnancy he doesn't see why I can't have another,but I don't know if I could handle another mc. So..that's my story. |
