Talking New to boards, but not PCOS

Hi, I'm Emmy. I"m new to the boards but not PCOS. I was self-diagnosed (my mom and I did a LOT of research) as a junior in high school after a wrong diagnosis of congenital adrenal hyperplasia (idiot endocrinologist I don't go to any more). After 3 years of searching for an endo that specialized in PCOS, we ran the same tests the first endo ran. We found the same lab tests and it proved that I did in fact have PCOS and not CAH. He started me on Avandamet and spironalactone(?). After about a year, the Avandia portion had served its purpose. Now I'm currently on 100 mg of spironolactone twice daily, 750 mg of metformin twice daily, Aviane BCP, and 5 mcg of Byetta twice daily.
