I was diagnosed with POCS last August 07 and found your site Jan 08. I was on a few times then my computer crashed and I lost everything. I have just returned this morning and would love to talk to other newbies.
I'm 48 yrs and in excess of 250 lbs. I have had PCOS since I was a teenager but was just diagnosed last fall. I also have Hypothyroid with a goiter, I have since had my thyroid removed. I struggle with the hair loss, facial and body hair and weight. They have me on 200mg of Spironolactone, 2000 mg of Metforman, Prometrium, Eltroxin, Dicofenac and a few others not PCOS related. At this point I'm not seeing any results. I have had electrolysis's and laser treatment for the hair on my face with no results either.
I would love to talk to others and get a few ideas.
