 Failed Oral Glucose Test
At then end of February I had an oral glucose test done and I failed it. First, the doctor ordered more of the syrup than they usually give for a 1 hr test so I don't know if that messed up the results. I will be seeing an endocrinologist at the end of April. Right now I am trying to read up as much as possible and just trying to not be freaked out by this all. My emotions are bouncing all over the place. I have cut out all sugary drinks, and have cut back on high starchy stuff like white bread and potatoes. I just feel lost right now and one day I'll be fine and the next day I'll be freaking out about what this all might mean. |
