I started on Met in Sept 2007 with 2x500 mg per day right from the start. Before I was on Met I had one period in 7 months and am pretty sure that I was not ovulating since I was taking BBTs (which were totally wacky!). I got a period a month after I started Met, and temps showed that I was ovulating within that first cycle. I finally could see a pattern in my temps which was SOOOOO exciting. Up until then me and DH had no idea when the "right" time was to TTC. So I guess for me, Met worked pretty much immediately. I ended up conceiving on my 4th cycle which we were super excited about. Unfortunately, I miscarried at 10 weeks. But i am still happy to know that I CAN get pregnant.
