I've been Catholic since I was 13. I decided to become Catholic and I'm very glad I did otherwise I wouldn't have met my husband and had our two children. Being Catholic saved my sanity... I grew up with very abusive parents and I truly believe to this day that God helped me find Catholicism so I could survive that part of my life. I don't know what it was but I'm forever grateful for finding The Church.
But other Catholic ladies please chime in... I posted on another thread about wanting to have more children someday. I was very young (I had both kids before I was 22) and it was a very rough patch in my marriage so we did not really have the joy everyone speaks of. We just did what we had to do to get by. I would very much like to have another child someday (maybe I'm crazy, selfish, or maybe it's just because I'm Catholic), but other people here basically told me to shut up and stop being greedy. I don't think I am. I would just like to maybe have another baby sometime. Your thoughts |
