Question PCOS and hysterectomy

Hey all. I am a 35 year old mother of 5 who has been diagnosed with PCOS and I am insulin resistant. My doctor is recomending a hysterectomy and I am wish washy about the procedure.I do not want anymore children. I am a little over weight but have been relativly small my whole life up until the insulin resistance. While trying to research this I have seen so many bad things that can happen to a womans body ( of which I have many symptoms) HAs anyone on here had a hysterctomy for PCOS and if so did it help or make your life more difficult. The Doc wants to do a complete Hyst. Any info would be great.
