 Cortisone's affect on blood sugar
I had a cortisone injection in my hip about a week and a half ago. I know that steriods can cause an increase in blood sugar. I am supposed to get a fasting sugar, insulin and do a glucose tolerance test @ my convience. I wanted to go in tomorrow, but I am unsure how long the steriod will affect my blood sugar. Does anyone know if it would be out of my system by now? TIA!
