So I just had to comment on the naming thing. I can't get over people out there. Why is it that people don't understand if they can't say anything nice they shouldn't say anything at all, especially family. I totally agree at not telling anyone untill the kids are born. My DH and I have been ttc w/ help since 2004, and we are expecing twin boys next month. We have had a list of names picked out for years. We told our famlies our choices...which was fine....but my SIL & MIL let me know that they didn't approve over Thanksgiving. I was so hurt I had my husband let them know that it was not acceptable. Mom and Dad are the only two who get the say in the naming and parenting of their children. So in Feb my SIL threw me a shower. The night before the shower she started on the whole thing AGAIN. I kindly let her know that it was not up to her, that she had no right to say things that were hurtful, it's our decision and she can name her kids what she wants. Well she is so immature she WOULDN'T drop it. Now I don't ever want to speak to her again, and she is not allowed arround my boys. Why don't people get that it is a personal decision.

About the vaccine thing, I don't think there is anything wrong with a delayed schedule. I do have to say that so far all the scientific research shows that genetic factors most likely combined with environmental factors are the most likely cause of Autism. They believe that the genes that made human intelligent are most likely responsable for the mutations that lead to autism. And there are studies showing that exposure to pesticids also increases risk for autism. It's only one study so it's not conclusive evidence yet. So far studies show no link between vaccination and autism. The reason why they are associated is because autism usually rears it's ugly head about the same time children are vaccinated. With the MMR there used to be a form of mercury used as a preservative in it which people assumed was the cause for autism. They no longer use mercury in the MMR and rates of autism are on the rise, so I don't think it would be the cause.
