The pp has it right. I have to say if you are looking at TTC go and find an RE. An OB only has a couple of months of training in infertility, and an RE has years. My OB was a great guy but couldn't figure out what to do with me, he kept giving me chlomid and it wasn't working. After a ton of reading I got fed up and looked for an RE, he wouldn't even give me a name of one he recomended. So I went up to the teaching hospital in my state 4 hrs away. It was worth it. The knew what they were doing, they listened to me, and they were in constant contact with me through out the infertility process. If it was not for them I would not be expecting right now. And in some cases OBs are willing to work with an RE. I say the more people on your team the better.
