First, I am happy to hear your daughter has already been diagnosed. So many of us PCOSers don't get diagnosed until later in life.
Anyways, I believe that Dr. Nash's office typically deals with OB and fertility issues. The one time I asked about other symptoms he said that an endocrinolgist would be a better match for managing.
I definitely think you need to look for an endocrinologist for her.
Good luck..
PS: I saw this post the other day, so I copied and pasted for you as it mentions a doc who specializes in PCOS....
N.E. Ohio - so far, so good!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Went to Dr. Frank Gonzalez out of MetroHealth system(I am employed with it), whom specializes in PCOS only-my first appt was 2 hours long and so far-he is fantastic! Even though I have been diagnosed since 1997, he wants to learn more about me-alot more thourough than any other doc I have had! I also learned alot about PCOS in general from him. Want to look his background up or make an appt? Go to
www.metrohealth.org and go into the physician directory.
