Hey, Laura! Not Canadian, just thought the Avatar was funny! Though I can literally see Canada, Wolf Island, from my back porch. Inositol is a B vitamin that has been shown in some studies to promote regular ovulation. There's a form of it called D-Chiro-Inositol, which most of the studies have used, which seems to really work but is stupid expensive, so I'm using regular Inositol, 500 mg, that I got at GNC for $9, and has also had studies done showing positive results. It is present in a lot of foods, esp. buckwheat, and also the body makes it, so I figured, what the heck. It's also good for depression and for eating disorders (not sure why). I am one of those people that doesn't want to take a lot of herbs, bc I'm afraid of messing around with my system too much, and then not knowing what substance is causing which results, if that makes sense, but I'm fine with vitamins. I really ought to add Vitamin D3 too, since one study showed that PCOS women were deficient, but honestly, I don't want to take another pill! I hate swallowing pills!!!
