I'm new at this PCOS thing and it's been very frustrating to me! Well, the insurance party anyway.
I have always carried the Ins in our family and since I worked for ins. companies I had pretty decent coverage. I decided to stop working and go back to school so we picked up my husband ins. He works for a wal-mart distribution center. OMG THEIR INS SUCKS! It really, truly does!
They told me I HAVE to take birth control pills to treat PCOS. Well, I could treat it other ways but they won't cover anything then. Does this sound right to any of you? What information can I use to fight this? I'm finding it hard to voice my opinion to them since I just started researching this. It's got me so upset right now. |
