Could you get your physician to turn in a diagnosis of other things that need to be treated like insulin resistance (Met), hirsutism (Spiro), etc. I can't imagine that the insurance company wouldn't rather pay for those old, generic cheap drugs instead of BCPs. You might also consider challenging their refusal to pay for drugs other than BCPs by providing them some literature that says BCPs are not the best long term treatment for PCOS. You could probably look around in the article section of this board and find some of the ones Kat has posted.
