It must be the B complex defiency. I regret going off Met. I'm seriously considering going back on it because I'm losing my hair now anyway. It stopped shedding for a while but its back.

Are you a vegetarian? Because that would mean you're not getting any B 12 in your diet. The sublingual drops may help. Let me know where you get those. Also, do you have enough Iodine in your diet? I just realised we have non-Iodised salt and I've heard Metformin affects your thyroid somehow. Those of us with PCOS are already predisposed to becoming hypothyroid so this drug may be triggering hair loss in those of us bordering on or going towards hypothyroidism. Just some random ideas I'm throwing up in the air. I'd love to hear other cyster's views on the matter.
