mkaz, I've got an appointment with a naturopath next week. My goal is to get off of Yaz, even though I've only been on it 2 months. I have felt awful ever since I started taking it--extreme fatigue, nausea, muscle weakness in my arms and legs, moodiness, etc. I didn't even want to get on bcp, but the only other alternative my regular endocrinologist gave me to reduce my testosterone levels was Byetta. (I am not a big fan of injections, nor am I trying to conceive). I am hoping the naturopath will look a little further into the situation (i.e., do some more testing on my hormones) and help me control my symptoms naturally. After reading these forums, though, I am convinced progesterone cream will help me once I get off bcp. Did your naturopath happen to mention anything to you about progesterone to control your cycles and help with PCOS symptoms?
