I was diagnosed when I was 19 and didn't think about TTC. We have only been married for a year and a half, so people have been asking when we are going to have kids. Anyone who asks I kind of jump at the chance to tell them about PCOS. First they stop asking questions about it unless they are genuinely concerned and it can bring light to situations maybe other people are having and don't feel comfortable bringing it up. Especially because IF is so frustrating and emotional, some people may think twice about asking stupid questions that might be none of their business. Not everyone is as open as DH and I about out IF.
I have let my mom take the reigns with the family thing. She really understands it and can explain it well to others.
I had an aunt who had to take Clomid after a miscarriage and one of my cousins didn't conceive until after a year, which I think they have some infertility issues, but have never discussed them.
