Laura, wow, that is so incredible. Those LH surges are so hard to detect unless you do the OPK EVERY day, at just the right time (I only had 1 +OPK on CD11, and then a -neg OPK just a few hours later, so I still don't know if that was a real +pos or not), so to get a +OPK out of the blue on CD35 makes it even more incredible. That is so neat that you received that prompting (and that you obeyed that prompting). I am sure that you an your DH are doing that you need to do. I hope you caught that egg.
Jade, congrats on reaching the second trimester.

I hope your m/s is gone now.
Jules, can't wait to hear your beta results from today.
Jolin, I still had your blog page loaded on my labtop while I was at work last night (graveyards), so I had to chance to read your blog, and look at your pics. Thanks for sharing. What a beautiful family you have. I felt the Spirit so strong as I read about your temple sealing to Gracie, and Gabriel. Congrats! All your pics are so nice, and I just love the pics of Gracie and her new doll, and the children in front of their temples. The one of Gabriel “pushing” the handcart is adorable. I think it is so wonderful that you are able to nurse Gabriel, even though he is adopted, and plus he was a premie. That must have been quite an accomplishment.
Now I want to go on a Church history vacation to Nauvoo, and Winter Quarters. Too many places to go see, too little time. Maybe in a couple of years...
We need to go to Peru this year. My SIL recently reminded me that
my FIL turns 90 this month, and we don't have time to ask for time off work, or even get or passports renewed in time to make it there for his birthday. My SIL wants to have a big party to celebrate, and invite all the family. I just wish we could be there to join the celebration, and to see/meet all the family gathered at the same time. What an opportunity to do genealogy, since most of DH's family are non-members, there is a LOT of work to do on his side.
Hum...... My DH turns 50 this year in Oct. We were hoping to go to Peru for Christmas, so the children can experience their dad's native Peruvian Christmas traditions, but now I am wondering if we should go in Oct. My SIL could help me plan a huge
surprise B-day party for my DH, and then we would be able to invite everyone in the family (again), so we can see/meet everybody all at the same time. I have been wanting to do a surprise b-day party for him this year, wow, wouldn't it be even better if we did it in Peru? I could just tell him that it is just too expensive to go to Peru in Dec, and that we should go a little earlier, and he would never know what we were planning for him...
Plus, it would be a LOT less expensive to pay for a huge b-day party in Peru rathar than in the US (we always serve a dinner, party snacks, a huge cake, and even have music and dancing).
Plus, Oct will probably be better weather than Dec. Dec is the middle of the summer in Peru, and summer in Peru is HOT.

What do you ladies think would be better? Go to Peru on Oct to do a surprise 50th b-day party for DH, or go in Dec to experience a traditional Peruvian Christmas?
