shanabryant ~ I am sending you a huge hug right now! I was MISERABLE throughout highschool... and I definitely don't look back on it with fond memories. I know now that most of it was because of undiagnosed depression, but there were other reasons.

Do you know what your BMI is? That's a much better indicator of healthy weight than just guessing or having your doctor guess. I would however talk to your doctor about depression treatment... trust me, they make life so much easier.

Just a couple things to think about - when you starve yourself (ie: not getting enough calories per day), you actually SLOW DOWN your metabolism, which encourages weight gain. I tried it that way too... and I gained lots of weight. Also, every time you throw up, you are filling your throat and mouth with stomach acid... which will eventually erode those crucial structures. I don't mean to gross you out, but it's important to know what you are doing, so that you can make a CHOICE as to whether to continue or stop.

Anyway, I will keep you in my thoughts. Message me if you ever want to talk.
