Doolin – No, I’m not being monitored, I wish!! I’m just having a CD21 progesterone test to see if I’ve O’d. I’m doing this treatment through by OBGYN, so it is definitely a “no frills” approach. I’m excited though, because I was on the waiting list for our fertility clinic, and I just found out I have an appointment for the end of June. By then I will have done 2 rounds of clomid, and will be ready to talk about more aggressive treatments. I would have to get on a waiting list for that too… so best to get started early!! Relka – I know what you mean about a bi-polar DH!! My DF is slowly getting used to the idea that I am not fertile/we need to be more aggressive than the average couple, but he still reverts back every once in a while. I definitely feel like it’s a strain on our relationship. We’ve been together almost 8 years, and we’ve probably had more fights this year than all others combined. If I were completely fertile, it would be his preference to wait on the TTCing. On the other hand, he doesn’t want to miss the chance to have biological children. (I’ve actually warmed up to the idea of adoption - that’s the pessimist in ME though!)
I’m glad you’re feeling better. That’s strange about no AF… I am curious to see what your dr. says. Can you trigger and still not O? Is it possible that a beta will pick up something the HPT didn’t? I just think it’s weird that you’ve had AF symptoms for so long with no actual AF. Stef – About taking the laid back approach… it’s easier said than done isn’t it? I know I can absolutely not do it!
