This is great info. I really believe that our diets are a contributing factor to our PCOS and insulin resistance. I was diagnosed with both. I have been following the nutrisystem diet and combining that with the IR diet. It has been good so far. I have lost 32 pounds with nutrisystem. Unfortunately, I have not seen much improvement with my PCOS symptoms. I am very overweight with a bmi of 37 currently so I think I may have to lose more weight before I see results in terms of the symptoms of PCOS. This can only mean that I am very, very, very insulin resistant.
So having said that, I believe that no matter what type of treatment we receive we cannot totally "cure" ourselves until we change our lifestyle.
