Congrats on the weight loss.
Wow, they
are excited about sprouting. I have a sprouting tray, and have a sprouting mix that has several different types of seeds (I have only put them on my green salads), but now I am excited to try the wheat. I tried sprouting quinoa, but it spoiled too fast, maybe I need to get in the fridge sooner.
Do you mostly eat it raw, or do you cook it when you add it to the cereal? Do you eat your nuts raw? I have a friend who told me that raw almonds need to be soaked before eating, because they have an enzyme inhibitor, that soaking rinses away.
This friend sometimes puts almonds, and flax, and sesame in her green smoothies, and she let me try it, and it was pretty good. But she can do that because she has the "Champ" blender (similar to the vitamix) and it will grind seeds/grains. I would love to do that too. Do you grind your own seeds and nuts?
I was Dx'd with MS in 06, so I felt an urgent need to get my mercury fillings out right away.
It was really interesting; I had learned that there is mercury poison in the amalgam fillings about a year before that, and added mercury removal to my list of thing I would like to do to improve my health (when I could afford it).
Then one day as I was searching the net, I found the website of a lady who had been Dx'd with MS (and other health problems) who improved dramatically after getting her mercury fillings removed. She had the info of the biological dentist in Mexico who did her work.
And then, a few months later, my MS symptoms started, and I was Dx'd. It was like the Lord had been preparing me so I would know what I needed to do once I got my MS Dx. (I did some additional research, too)
I went to the biological dentist in Mexico to have the work done. Taking the trip to Mexico, and having the dental work done, was less expensive than having the work done by a local biological dentist. And we got to make a family vacation out of it.
I am still nursing, too. I guess that's another reason I am not planning to do that liver cleanse anytime soon.
