I too recently started on metformin and my glucose levels are normal. The medication is used for type 2 diabetes but is also used for people with PCOS and do not have diabetes. It suppose to help the ovaries somehow. I had the same thought with it....LOL I asked the DR will I have to test my Blood sugar levels? he told me no. It doesn't cause a hypoglycemic reaction (low blood sugar levels) |
