Smile Another Newbie here :)

I am so happy that I found this site! I've been lurking around for a week reading the wealth of info that is here and thought it was time that I introduced myself. My name is Missi, I am 30 years old. I was just diagnosed with PCOS with Insulin Resistance a little over a month ago. I am also a celiac (Allergic to gluten) and a Vegetarian, I am completely stumped at what exactly I should be eating. I was prescribed Riomet 500 mg a day and prometrium 400 mg 10x's a month. I have not started taking the prometrium yet, mainly because I have been spotting and am going to take it vaginally...I just can not swallow those pills...Hence the liquid Riomet instead of the metformin pills. My periods were very irregular until a couple of months ago..I would go years without even a drop. After being gluten free for a year, I started getting an AF again. Then I just wouldn't stop bleeding, went to a GP and she thought I had a polyp. She sent me to an OB/GYN, who did a batch of tests and a vaginal ultrasound and diagnosed me with PCOS and told me I didn't have a polyp. I just wanted to say hey and that I really appreciate this site and all the members that are participating!
