I once enlisted a trainer for help in highschool. I didn't know then that I had PCOS and could not get my eating under control to make the training beneficial. I ended up quitting as my workouts would make me nauseous.
Its been nearly ten years and I'm now turning to a trainer again. The gym at the university I work at does a buddy training thing so that we pay half the price of a normal session. A normal session would be $48 and I will only pay $24. However, I can imagine how fast this would add up. We're talking once a week for 24bux. Imagine an entire 12 week program.
Anyway, I should be starting next week, so I will keep you all posted. I'm waiting to hear back with the trainer that is available. I'm hoping for a guy who will crack the whip.
