You should get your levels checked. Metformin can help women who do not have IR (insulin resistance) because I have cysts and high testosterone (and that is it---there's nothing else, no insulin problems or anything like that).
And you have to work your way up to over 2000 mg slowly. So keep doing what you're doing!
