I take generic metformin, and so does my mother (who's type 2 diabetic). She's had Glucophage before, and I don't think she had any problems switching. I've had a few tummy oobles since I've increased my dose to 2000 mg (half in morning, half at night), but other than that it doesn't cause me any problems and seems to work okay. |
