I can understand why you're frustrated. You waited all that time and didn't get much in return...did that 20mins include some kind of physical exam? I'm trying to figure out what you talked about for 20 mins if not you?

You should follow your instincts about the study...never get pushed into a study! (They shouldn't push you) When they get your labs back, make sure You get a copy of all of them so that you can have the information for yourself, and could look up the lab levels for yourself as far as what is normal and what is not, and also it may speed things up if you switch doctors.
