It depends on what the patches are. It could be a variety of things. One possibility (just as an example) is that it could be a fungal infection, and if that is the case you need antifungal cream and then another cream on top of that, to heal up the skin once you have killed the fungus off.

But, it could be a variety of things, you really need to get a doctor or nurse to tell you what the underlying issue is, so you know what the proper remedy would be.

In the short term (while you wait for a doctor appointment) try body washes and ointments that contain tea tree oil, and see if that makes it any better.
