I'm taking spiro too, I've been on it for about 10 months now.
Spiro hasn't helped my acne at all, and at the 6 month mark my skin was worse than it had ever been. I started a three month course of antibiotics in January and my skin cleared up within a few weeks. The cystic acne is completely gone, and I now just have the occasional tiny pimple. I'm now on a very low dose of antibiotics and I'm hoping it will keep working.
Antibiotics can have troublesome side effects and not everyone can take them, but you may want to consider trying them if you haven't before. |
