Well, I lasted about a week off the effexor. The physical withdrawals were gone, but I absolutely felt insane. I was angry for no reason, cried for no reason, and basically could not function. I talked to my OBGYN (who had not put me on effexor, but wanted me off of it) and they said that they have a lot of complaints from patients coming off of it. She said that evening weaning off of it is just too much for most patients she talks to. She put me on 50mg of Zoloft...I took the first pill last night, so we'll see how this works. I just wanted to update everyone, b/c I know many other cysters have been through the same thing or are goin' through the same thing. GOOD LUCK to all! I'll let ya know how the zoloft works!
