You should go to your gyn to talk about getting an anti-inflammatory for that ovary. I've had that problem too, before getting dx, and was able to take regular tylenol. Not sure what I would be able to take OTC now that I'm on Met, because of its interaction with acetaminophen and the liver. You should also talk about the way you are feeling with dr. A mild antidepressent can and will help. It just takes time to find the right one for you.
I know that the health care providers I go to has two different options for treating PCOS, it's either the Met or BCP, and both come with an automatic rx for an antidepressent. I was told to take it whether I felt like I needed it or not because of the emotional effects PCOS can cause.
