My doctor is very good about trying to keep cost down if insurance won't cover anything. So for me (because I have been on Clomid before)a Clomid cycle only costs:
$4 for metformin
$4 for generic provera
$10 for generic Clomid (all walmart prescriptions)
Then I only go into the doctor if I get a bfp with a hpt. Is this your first cycle with Clomid? I ask because my 1st cycle did cost quite a bit more because we did two ultrasounds to see if I was producing follicles (at $650 a pop!), plus clomid was $54 a cycle back then, but now is $10 (go figure). But since we know I have a response to Clomid I don't have to do all that anymore. Does your doctor require all the labs and everything? |
